This is a basic, delicious and nutritious green juice, and for good reason. The base is celery, which is a little known nutritional powerhouse. It’s loaded with potassium, folic acid, magnesium, calcium, iron, phosphorus and essential amino acids. On top of all that, it’s one of the most alkalinizing things you can put in your body. To the celery, I add kale, spinach, green apple, parsley, lime, lemon and ginger, creating an extremely potent, detoxifying drink. - 1 bunch organic celery
- 4-5 organic kale leaves
- small handful of organic spinach
- small handful of organic flat parsley
- 1 organic green apple
- 1 lime
- 1 lemon
- 1 inch of fresh ginger
Wash all the ingredients. Cut the peel from the lemon, lime & ginger, quarter and core the apple and cut into pieces. Run the ingredients through the juicer, and run any wet pulp back through the juicer. Scrape off the foam. Serve and enjoy!
